The research site 10 years later, in May 2018, is dominated by a healthy mix of Siberian wheatgrass, bluebunch wheatgrass, and Sherman big bluegrass. Surviving populations of Sandberg bluegrass and squirreltail reemerged. Seeding also included Wyoming big sagebrush, forage kochia, and western yarrow for added wildlife value.
