Objective:
Evaluate the integrated effects of fungicides and resistance on Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON, with emphasis on new fungicides.
Compare the efficacy of new fungicides to Prosaro®, Caramba®, and Miravis Ace®.
Generate data to quantify the economic benefit of management programs.
Generate data to advance the development of FHB risk prediction models.
Approach:
The research trials will be conducted at two Purdue research farms in West Lafayette, and Vincennes, Indiana. Wheat will be established each preceding fall for implementation of trials in the springs of 2021/2022 to accomplish goals of the work.
