Technical Abstract: A probable host, holotype depository, and additional distribution data are recorded for the two species of Orussidae known from Chile. Guiglia chilensis Benson was reared from stems of Baccharis linearis (R. and P.) (Compositae) infested with Trigonogenium biforme Cobos (Buprestidae). The holotype of Orusella dentifrons (Philippi) was located at the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural, Santiago.
