Objective:
The project will evaluate fungicides and host resistance strategies for managing FHB and DON in soft red winter wheat, compare new fungicides and application timings with standards, assess economic
benefit and generate data to improve FHB risk prediction models.
Approach:
Standardized protocols will be used to address the goals and objectives of the FHB MGMT coordinated project. Research will be conducted at several LSU AgCenter research stations. Information generated from these trials will add to the existing database of the USWBSI FHB MGMT project.
