Objective:
1. Evaluate yield and DON in durum wheat variety by fungicide trials under dryland and misted field conditions at Prosper and Langdon, respectively.
2. Extend information learned from these experiments at grower meetings and share data generated with the NDSU durum breeding program.
Approach:
Field research experiments will be conducted in two locations each year to evaluate an integrated FHB management approach which includes durum variety selection and the use of fungicide. Trials will include 6 durum varieties, representing a mix of commercially available varieties and experimental lines from the NDSU durum breeding program.
