Objective:
Evaluate the integrated effects of fungicide treatment and genetic resistance on Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON in winter wheat.

Approach:
Winter wheat cultivars adapted to Nebraska and differing in resistance to Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON will be subjected to fungicide treatments in field experiments. FHB index and DON will be measured to determine the most effective combination of fungicide and cultivar in reducing FHB and DON.
