Objective:
1) Evaluate the integrated effects of fungicide treatment and genetic resistance on Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) and DON in all major grain classes, with emphasis on new combination fungicides.
2) Compare the efficacy of Prosaro Pro and Sphaerex to that of Prosaro®, Caramba®, and Miravis Ace®.
Approach:
Field trials to evaluate fungicide combinations and genetic resistance will be implemented in Alburgh, Vermont. All research results will be distributed to growers in the Northeast through field days, conferences, and online materials. Results will be shared at the annual USWBSI meeting. Data will be provided to collaborators for publications.
