Objective:
1. Introduce scientists to the UAS workflow, flight equipment, and sensors needed for agricultural research. 2. Train scientists in machine learning technologies for imagery used on agricultural land. 3. Develop new collaborations between NMSU and ARS scientists on machine learning approaches and use of UAS applied to agro-ecosystems research. 4. Develop a community of practice devoted to the use of big data, machine learning, and UAS in agro-ecosystems research.

Approach:
1. Conduct workshops to train ARS scientists and NMSU faculty in the use of UAS equipment and imagery for agricultural research. 2. Conduct workshops on analysis of imagery using machine learning technologies. 3. Develop working groups composed of ARS scientists and NMSU faculty interested in using machine learning technologies and UAS for agricultural problems.
