Objective:
The objectives of this research are: 1) use protocol established for production of doubled haploid plants from individual seed submitted by cooperators, 2) develop a pilot for speed breeding to increase breeding production, and 3) return doubled haploid seed to cooperators for evaluation of FHB resistance.
Approach:
The researcher will develop doubled haploid plants for the purpose of increasing FHB resistance and return them to the cooperators for evaluation.
