Objective:
The objectives of this research are: 1) use traditional and molecular breeding methods to improve FHB resistance in North Carolina soft winter wheat cultivars and 2) field screen adapted soft winter wheat for FHB resistance.

Approach:
The researcher will conduct traditional and molecular breeding methods to improve FHB resistance in soft winter wheat for the state of North Carolina.
