Objective:
The objectives of this research are: 1) use traditional breeding methods to provide soft winter wheat varieties with enhanced FHB resistance to growers in the Arkansas and 2) use genomic approaches to improve and optimize breeding for FHB resistance.

Approach:
The researcher will conduct traditional and molecular breeding methods to improve FHB resistance in soft winet wheat for the state of Arkansas.
