Objective:
To assist ARS in the coordination with state seed certification agencies in order to obtain tuber samples from seed lots and to also distribute and store samples in labs conducting initial surveys.

Approach:
Cooperator will oversee field trials on PMTV management planted on a cooperator farm in Maine and will obtain the necessary experimental materials, oversee planting, growth and harvesting of the crop. He will obtain the necessary soil and plant tissue samples before, during and after the growing season and ship samples to cooperators for analysis. Cooperator will also contribute to the development and distribution of outreach materials for improved website content and grower meeting participation.
