Mission

The mission of the Corn Soybean and Wheat Quality Research Unit is to increase quality, pest and pathogen resistance in corn, soybean and wheat through research to: 1) understand viruses and insect-transmitted pathogens that infect maize and soybean, their transmission and crop resistance to disease; and, 2) identify, characterize and evaluate eastern soft wheat breeding lines and cultivars for biochemical and genetic traits important for milling and baking quality improvement, and expanded uses.
The Corn, Soybean and Wheat Quality Research is located in Wooster, OH and is part of the Midwest Area.
