Homeland Security Division Functional Overview

The Homeland Security Division (HSD) is dedicated to meeting the United States Department of Agriculture’s mission and is part of Administrative and Financial Management (AFM).  The mission of the Division is to mitigate risk and safeguard ARS personnel, customers, assets and information. The Division partners with the USDA Office of Homeland Security and the USDA Office of Safety, Security and Protection. 

HSD is part of Administrative and Financial Management (AFM). All internal homeland security policy and guidance is now located on Axon .
