Current Nutrition Studies

The Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center is always looking for volunteers to participate in community studies. In community studies, volunteers live at home but take their meals at the Center. Study participants must abide by the current USDA policy for COVID.

 

Exercise Is Medicine

Although exercise is known to combat obesity and obesity related disease states, the mechanisms of action are not fully understood. We are doing this study to see how different exercise intensities affect anti- and pro-inflammatory responses to exercise.
