Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: This presentation will introduce multi-organismal interactions that exists in the mosquito holobiont. This talk will also discuss how our understanding of these complex molecular interactions is allowing us to develop novel bio-control strategies that target the mosquitoes and the pathogens they transmit. A description of fungal and bacterial entomopathogens with potential to control all life cycle stages of the mosquito will also be given.
