Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Aureobasidium pullulans is the source of the commercial polysaccharide, pullulan, and the enzyme, xylanase. The purpose of this study was to classify Aureobasidium isolates using multilocus phylogenetic analysis and determine specific characteristics of each clade.
