Objective:
To evaluate the use of anaerobic soil disinfestation (ASD) for control of specific problem weeds in two regions.
Approach:
Researchers will conduct greenhouse evaluations of various carbon inputs and carbon: nitrogen rations for optimizing weed control. A variety of chemical and biological parameters will be measured in order to determine potential mechanisms of weed suppression.
