Objective:
The objective of the proposed research is to conduct on-farm and community garden demonstrations of new vegetable production techniques available for urban horticulture and to build capacity for coordinated outreach.
Approach:
Cooperative establishment of on-farm and community demonstrations of anaerobic soil disinfestation, vegetable grafting, and microgreen production will be conducted to increase the availability and adoption of pest control and production techniques that are compatible with the urban landscape and the environment.
