Interpretive Summary: This chapter provides up-to-date, field-tested information on integrated disease management for the major international diseases of cucurbit crops like cucumber, melon, squash, pumpkin and watermelon. It will be useful for a diverse audience interested in a wide variety of vegetable and herb crops. This includes growers, extension agents, diagnosticians, teachers, researchers and regulatory officials.

Technical Abstract: Information on integrated disease management for the major international diseases of cucurbit crops caused by fungi, oomycetes, bacteria and viruses is provided in this chapter. Cucurbit crops addressed are cucumber, melon, squash, pumpkin and watermelon. This information will be useful for growers, extension agents, diagnosticians, teachers, researchers and regulatory officials in all cucurbit-producing regions of the world.
