Food at First: An NLAE Contribution to the Community |
NLAE collected a variety of produce consisting of zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, and an estimated 200 pounds of sweet corn from the Ag Farm to deliver to the local food bank, Food at First. The corn was a huge hit! They had 150 families that came through and they were unable to feed them all corn, so a second trip to the field was made to collect more produce. The effort was led by building manager, Patrick Quance and at least 10 NLAE volunteers.
