Rehabilitation of a Severed Meander Bendway: Effects of Flow Augmentation - Results - Nitrogen Compounds (Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite)

Changes in ammonium-N concentrations appeared cyclical and were independent of treatment and more closely associated with primary production.  Nitrate-N and nitrite-N changes mirrored changes in source water.
