| After the construction, all the structures were mapped using a differentially corrected global positioning system. Then, 12 of the 72 structures were selected for detailed description. For each structure we recorded the number of logs used, the external dimensions, and the presence of earth anchors. For the 12 selected LWDS we recorded the numbers of key and rack members and their characteristics (length, bottom diameter, species, rootwad, soil). Results Back |
