Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The eighth edition of the International Seed Testing Association's List of Stabilised Names has been prepared by the Nomenclature Committee. Changes from the seventh edition include those to spelling (3), authority (19), and status, with 23 scientific names formerly treated as synonyms becoming accepted and 68 accepted names becoming synonyms. An additional 226 accepted names and 102 synonyms were added to the List, for a total of 3414 names.
