This report provides a timely account of a Cucurbit yellow stunting disorder virus and Squash vein yellowing virus outbreak to growers, Extension personnel and state and Federal regulatory and research scientists. Technical Abstract: Three whitefly-transmitted virsues have recently been reported infecting various cucurbit crops, including squash and watermelon, in Florida. In September 2008, Cucurbit yellow stunting disorder virus and Squash vein yellowing virus were found infection cucurbits in west-central Florida. |
