Interpretive Summary: This paper provides a detailed description and illustration of the female genitalia for the mosquito genus Ayurakitia. The structures of the female genitalia are important in the identification and separation of this genus from other genera. This is the sixth in a series of papers that describe and illustrate the female genitalia of all genera and subgenera of aedine mosquitoes. The study was conducted at the Center for Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Entomology, Gainesville, Florida.

Technical Abstract: The female genitalia of genus Ayurakitia Thurman are characterized. A comparative, morphological analysis of the female genitalia was conducted. Treatment of the genus includes a composite description, description and illustration of the type species, list of the species examined, and a discussion. The discussion section includes a list of the most distinctive efeatures of the genus and other pertinent information.
