Objective:
The objective of this agreement is to facilitate collaboration between Cooperator and ARS in implementing biological control solutions to lessen the impacts of invasive foreign weeds in Florida's Everglades ecosystems and adjacent farming and ranching properties.
Approach:
Cooperator will assist ARS with mass-rearing of permitted biological control agents, field releases of these agents within the geographical boundaries of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP), evaluations of the impacts of these agents on their targeted invasive weeds, and incorporation of these agents into Integrated Weed Management activities in CERP.
