Objective:
1. Develop sampling system to detect variations in potential airborne disease markers in poultry environments.
2. Develop acoustic sampling systems to investigate early detection for respiratory infections.
Approach:
A multi-modal sensor approach will be used to evaluate behavioral, physiological, and production responses in live poultry for use in development of remote disease detection tools that employ machine learning and advanced data analytics. Environmental data will be coupled with biological metrics to further enhance detection capabilities.
