Location: Subtropical Plant Pathology Research

Project Number: 6034-22000-045-012-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Jul 1, 2019

Objective:
Establish the areawide pest management (AWPM) team, AWPM regions, communication infrastructure, and promote the project.

Approach:
Project implementation will start by hiring a ‘Project Coordinator’ (PC). The PC will be responsible for assembling a team of experts within each of four regions defined in the proposed research. Concurrent with team building, the PC will assist in more clearly delineating each of the four areawide pest management (AWPM) regions by working with the grower community. Lastly, PC will outline the development of biweekly/monthly newsletter and AWPM website and assist in promoting the project. Cooperator will: 1) Assist in assembling the project team of experts. 2) Better define the four AWPM regions. 3) Develop the outline for a biweekly/monthly newsletter and AWPM website.
