The community also boasts one of the finest combined art gallery and history museums in the region, the MonDak Heritage Center. The surrounding area also includes both national and state parks and historic sites within easy driving distance, as well as live entertainment at the Fort Peck (MT) Summer Theatre, Medora (ND) Musical and the Richland County Fair and Rodeo. Fishing, hiking, kayaking, hunting and more are common outdoor pursuits in the area, with agate hunting a favorite along the Yellowstone.
