Justin Patton

Before coming to ARS, Justin Patton was employed at Hattiesburg Stockyard inspecting and vaccinating cattle. He joined USDA ARS in the summer of 2005 first as student summer helper under contract for 2-3 weeks doing post Hurricane Katrina cleanup. He graduated Stone High School in 2008 through the Mississippi State University Correspondence Course. In 2011, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Horticulture and began working full time as a Biological Science Technician at TCSHL.  Currently, Justin is working closely with Dr. Ebraheim Babiker in the small-fruit breeding and genetics team where he leads the efforts in all aspects of orchard management.
