Denise Hardy

Biological Science Technician

Since 2017, Denise Hardy is a Biological Science Technician at the TCSHL.  She began working as a temp employee at TCSHL helping in Location Support in 2014. With a desire to learn more about biological science, she then worked under a Research Support Agreement with Mississippi State University in Poplarville, MS. Originally from Chalmette, LA, she currently resides in Slidell, LA.  Denise graduated from LSU in 1985 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, a Master’s degree in Health Administration in 2009, and her Associates Degree from Pearl River Community College (concentrating in Biology) in 2017. She practiced Dental Hygiene for 28 years with 23 of those years as a Contractor for the Military in Military Health Care clinics.   Her experience working in a sterile environment helped in her transition to tissue culture under the direction of Dr. Hamidou Sakhanokho.
