Interpretive Summary: Three gooseberries newly available to North America are described. The origin, description and uses of the cultivars Jeanne, Rafzvicta, and Rafzuera are presented. The cultivar Jeanne originates from the USDA ARS in Oregon. It is a late ripening, dark red, dessert gooseberry with few thorns. Rafzvicta and Rafzuera originated from Rafz, Switzerland. They are early and midseason bright red goosseberries. Canadian Plant Breeders rights and Unitedd States Plant Patents are pending for these Swiss cultivars.
