Objective:
Strengthen the capacity of the cooperators breeding program focusing on tolerance to heat, drought and pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) of spring barleys and winter-hardiness of winter barley.

Approach:
Cooperator will facilitate germplasm screening using high throughput phenotyping techniques (e.g. hyperspectral imaging), and identifying metabolic and genetic markers associated with abiotic stress and PHS tolerance.
