Objective:
Develop and validate gene functions and gene networks for developing new soybean with improving soybean nutrition and productivity.
Approach:
Cooperator will evaluate performance of soybean lines containing edited genes in field to validate gene functions and gene networks in regulating seed quality and yield, and further introgress the edited genes into the elite soybean cultivars to test application of the genes and networks in developing new soybean cultivars with improved seed quality and yield.
