Objective:
The objective of this project is to design and build a soil steam applicator for strawberry production.
Approach:
The performing organization will create engineering plans that can be used by a fabricating company to produce a soil steam applicator for strawberry production. The plans will be drawn with input from ARS scientists, stakeholders, and engineers from the California Strawberry Commission. The performing organization will also begin to source materials for the construction of this steam application device.
