Objective:
To develop a protocol for cryopreserving shrimp larvae for long term genetic resource preservation.

Approach:
The Center for Aquaculture Technologies will acquire and maintain shrimp capable of yielding larvae of a suitable stage of development for protocol development and provide technical staff that will work with ARS personnel throughout protocol development.
