Objective:
Develop a functional biosensor that can be used to detect the presence of plant parasitic nematodes.
Approach:
The Cooperator will make prototype biosensors that will be tested for their ability to detect and/or identify different nematode species in the lab. Once we have a functional biosensor, we will test it in conjunction with the prototype probes and baiting approaches developed at the USVL.
