Objective:
The objective of the current project is to extract and quantify milk cell RNA from MILQ samples.
Approach:
University of California-Davis will extract and purify RNA from TRIZol-preserved milk samples. UC Davis will also quantify the RNA yield of all samples and the integrity of a representative subset (5%). There are currently 563 of these samples at the Davis location, expecting up to 100 more by end of 2020. Not to exceed 700 samples.
