Transplanting buckwheat

Buckwheat isolation







Buckwheat production starts in the greenhouse by planting seeds for transplants.  Once the transplants have grown to an appropriate height, we place them in the field, cover each accessions with an isolation cage, then introduce honey bees for pollination and then harvest.
