Objective:
Incoming funds will be used to train, educate, guide, and teach selected undergraduate students in plant pathology, in research activities in tropical fruits, sorghum and bean crops.
Approach:
During the semester and summer internship periods, students will have the opportunity to learn in different laboratories in TARS Mayaguez about tropical plant diseases, bean and sorghum genomics and breeding, tissue culture, soil and plant chemistry.
