I provide technical support for the Aflatoxin Biocontrol Lab whose main focus is the reduction of aflatoxin producing fungi in various food crops. We take an in-depth look at how aflatoxins affect our crop and soil health through collaborations with local, national, and international growers. Our research will improve the overall health of our communities and educate our growers on the dangers and mitigation techniques of aflatoxins. Additionally, I supervise the laboratory personnel, maintain the chemical and supply inventories and oversee daily lab safety protocols.
