Vision

To be a leader in developing practical management strategies for insects, beneficials and weeds that, in turn, reduce economic and environmental impacts and promote food security.

Mission

Develop and implement ecologically based strategies and technologies for the sustainable management of insects, beneficial organisms, pests, and weeds in crops and rangeland. Emphasis is on biological and cultural management strategies that enhance environmental quality and reduce reliance on chemical pesticides.
