Careers with the USDA-ARS North Central Agricultural Research Laboratory

The North Central Agricultural Research Laboratory (NCARL) is a research unit of the Agricultural Research Service and United States Department of Agriculture.  NCARL employs approximately 30 full time permanent employees and a varying number of student employees depending on the time of year (field season, etc.).

 

Many disciplines relating to agriculture and agricultural production are represented at NCARL.  Soil Science, Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, and Entomology are some areas of research performed at our laboratory.

Currently recruiting: 

 

Biological Science Aid--agronomy/oat

Paid Internships x 3 - Summer 2024: Microbiology Lab, Insect Ecology Lab, Soil Invertebrate Lab

full-time internships, 8-12 weeks beginning June 2, $17/hour

 

Biological Science Aid--entomology
