Objective:
Objective: Produce hybridomas expressing monoclonal antibodies against purified recombinant proteins from Risk Group 4 Pathogens that represent threats to livestock production in the United States, in order to develop improved veterinary diagnostic and vaccine capabilities against these threats.
Approach:
USDA will identify proteins of interest from Risk Group 4 Pathogens and send purified proteins to the Cooperator. Cooperator will produce hybridomas against these proteins, confirm that they stably produce monoclonal antibodies, and will ship the frozen hybridoma lines to ARS in two shipments.
