Objective:
The objective of this work is to use data from U.S. Producers to evaluate how precision agriculture technologies can improve agronomic and economic efficiencies on their operations.
Approach:
Cooperator will work with ARS in collecting farm operation data from precision agriculture technologies from growers located in several states. The data will be geospatially processed to determine yield stability for crops, and determine if yield stability temporally drifts. Results will be used in discussions with the growers to encourage precision conservation. This work will contribute to the new ARS Precision Management Community and the Farm Data to Actionable Insight Deliverable Team.
