Research Project: Fludioxonil Resistance in Botrytis Cinerea

Location: Crop Diseases, Pests and Genetics Research

Project Number: 2034-21220-007-022-S
Project Type: Non-Assistance Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: May 20, 2020
End Date: Oct 31, 2021

Objective:
Identify genomic elements contributing to fludioxonil resistance in Botrytis cinerea.

Approach:
Perform time course experiments for RNAseq analysis of fludioxonil resistant and sensitive Botrytis isolates with the fungicide present and absent. Look for structural and expression variation among the two types for potential targets contributing to fungicide resistance.
