Mission:
The mission of the USDA ARS Northwest Watershed Research Center, Boise, Idaho is: • To provide knowledge and technology, including natural resource models and computer-based decision support systems, for the management of arid and semiarid rangeland watersheds • To acquire scientific knowledge of the hydrologic processes and the interactive influences of soil, vegetation, and management with regards to these processes; and • To maintain long-term databases for intramural and extramural scientific applications.
