Mission:
Our mission is to 1) conduct breeding and genetics research to enhance small grains, potato, and rainbow trout production nationwide, 2) maintain, evaluate, and distribute germplasm stocks from our National Small Grains Collection, and 3) increase rainbow trout production efficiency through the use of plant-based feeds and increased knowledge of trout physiology and nutrition. Our administrative support staff seeks to support the scientific mission by efficiently implementing the location’s administrative and financial management programs. Our facilities support staff aims to maintain, repair, and monitor the location’s facilities, grounds, and property.
