Interpretive Summary: Research notes, abstract only.

Technical Abstract: As procedures to restore the Everglades' original water flow proceed to advance under the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program, south Florida's hydrology has gained increasing attention. Studies are underway that model the region's sheet water flow and predict how various changes in hydrologic regime and the affects of changes in hydrologic regime may affect that flow,as mandated by CERP. The South Florida agricultural community adjacent to Everglades National Park is also keenly interested in understanding the hydrology. However, detailed land use map and Digital Elevation Model are needed to apply hydologic models in south Florida. This report summarizes the status of elevation data for south Florida.
